Sussex Freemasons have been supporting communities in Sussex since 1696. Our 160 Masonic Lodges, including specialist interest Lodges like the Rugby Lodge of Sussex, two shooting Lodges, an aviation focused Lodge, a Classic Motoring Lodge, a Motorcycling Lodge and three military Lodges, meet in 27 locations across East and West Sussex.
We also have two University Lodges where those students aged 18 or over, and in full time study, can become Freemasons.
We are a strategic partner of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, actively supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Michael Harris, Chairman of the Sussex Masonic Charitable Foundation CIO, commented “Sussex Freemasons have a proud history of supporting young people of all ages and abilities in our communities and we are delighted to continue that support through our sponsorship of the Sussex Apprenticeships Awards”
LECS UK is an independent practice of consulting engineers specialising in the movement of people and materials – lifts, escalators, cable cars and most forms of mechanical handling equipment.
From high-performance buildings to complex urban transport systems as well as domestic and commercial developments, LECS UK applies its expertise to advise, manage and solve complex projects from concept to commission.
It is the lift and escalator consultants of choice for key developers and architects worldwide. These include government departments, facility and estate managers, NHS Trusts, as well as working directly with luxury brand retailers, theatres, commercial premises and data centres.
The SE Apprenticeship Ambassador Network is delighted to be sponsoring this event.
We are a group of employers and apprentices whose aim is to engage new employers to recruit Apprentices across the SE and to encourage young people to consider an apprenticeship as a career option.
Ambassadors undertake their role (on a voluntary basis) by supporting and influencing a wide range of key stakeholders including schools, colleges, employers and their supply chains, trade associations and employment bodies. For further information please look at our website which is full of free case studies, video stories and useful resources available to download. www.seaan.org.uk
If you are interested in joining the network either as an apprentice or an employer who is passionate about the benefits that apprenticeships bring to your business please contact us here: www.seaan.org.uk/contact-us/
You will receive a very warm welcome!
Over the years, TSS Facilities have employed many apprentices, several of which have continued their development with the company. We currently have 3 Gas, 1 plumbing and 1 electrical apprentices who are completing their theory with a local college. We believe strongly in internal progression and encourage this throughout the business.
